Gordon is the founder of Advanced Fitness Concepts, a human performance company focused on improving health and fitness by using cutting edge science and training techniques. He formed this company in 2006 after serving for 6 years as the Fitness Director and Head Trainer for the area's largest commercial gym. Where he learned first-hand that the commercial gym industry does NOT care about the health of the individual or the quality of the training provided; just how much can the trainer sell.

Gordon believes knowledge is power and is constantly in pursuit of ways to increase his knowledge of training, injury rehabilitation, sports conditioning, nutrition, anatomy and physiology. He has earned an honors degree in Exercise Physiology from William Paterson University and is a candidate to receive his Masters degree in Exercise Science from Montclair State University. He plans to pursue his Doctorate in Movement Science at UMDNJ. Realizing that academic knowledge must be combined with practical skills to be useful & effective; he holds certifications from the industry's leading organizations including but not limited to: The CHEK Institute, National Academy of Sports Medicine, National Strength & Conditioning Association, USA Weightlifting and The American Academy of Health, Fitness & Rehabilitation Professionals.

        Gordon has been a leader in the fitness industry for over 10 years. His work experience is as diversified as his education, encompassing: Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation; Sports Performance Training & Conditioning; Cardiac Rehabilitation and Nutritional Counseling. This eclectic approach to training allows him to achieve SUPERIOR results across a wide population.
His areas of specialization include: Orthopedic exercise & injury post-rehabilitation; Sports conditioning for: Golf, Skiing, Tennis, & Hockey; Women's Conditioning & Post-natal Exercise Programs; Special Populations, Teens & Seniors.
